Nuclear Black Market Thrives

Another reason why nuclear makes no sense.

"Black Market Thrives in Georgia" by D. Butler (of the AP), The AZ Republic (2012, Dec 11), p. A10

[Excerpted] The Georgian seller offered cesium, a byproduct of nuclear reactors that terrorists can use to arm a dirty bomb. But one of the Turkish men, wearing a suit and casually smoking a cigarette, made clear he was after something even more dangerous: uranium, the material for a nuclear bomb"

Majia here: The costs of producing nuclear plants, processing uranium, storing spent nuclear fuel, and securitizing it from those who would use the waste for nefarious purposes together exceed the costs and risks of just about any other energy form one could imagine.
